What is NOX?
NOX: Daily Discipline is an iOS app for motivation, practical missions and consistency. Missions are selected according to your choices; you can save quotes and follow local progress. English and French are supported. Paid content requires Premium. In versions offering them, the email step for feedback requests is required after the subscription screen before first access, while analytics remain optional and separate.
Which plans are available?
Premium offers a monthly plan without a free trial and an annual plan with a 3-day free trial for eligible users. Apple determines trial eligibility. Check the price and trial shown in Apple’s purchase confirmation before approving. If you are not eligible, the annual plan starts as a paid subscription. See our subscription terms.
I paid. How do I restore access?
Connect to the internet and check that the App Store uses the Apple Account used for the purchase. In NOX, choose Restore Purchases on the subscription screen or in Profile. Wait for the result. Restoration checks existing access; it does not start a new purchase.
If no active subscription is found, check its status in Apple’s subscription settings. If access is still missing, reopen NOX and retry, then contact support with the error text. An expired or refunded purchase may not grant access. Restoration does not recover local progress or create another trial. See Apple’s restore-purchases guidance.
How do I cancel or request a refund?
On iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → NOX. You can also open subscription management from NOX’s Profile. To avoid trial renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Deleting the app or withdrawing feedback permission does not cancel billing. See Apple’s cancellation help.
Apple handles App Store refund requests. Follow Apple’s refund instructions; approval depends on Apple’s policies and applicable law.
Why is subscription verification unavailable?
NOX checks subscription access through RevenueCat and Apple. A connection or service problem can prevent verification, even for a subscriber. Check your internet connection and retry. If the app says purchases are unavailable, do not repeatedly approve payments; send support the message and app version. Do not delete the app as a first troubleshooting step because local progress may be lost.
Why am I not receiving reminders?
- In NOX’s Profile, open notification settings, enable reminders and save a frequency and time window. If the window is too short, widen it or reduce the frequency.
- In iPhone Settings → Notifications → NOX, allow notifications and check alert and preview settings. Focus modes or Scheduled Summary can delay or hide alerts.
- NOX does not show a notification banner while it is already open in the foreground. Times that have already passed today are not replayed.
- Reopen NOX after several days away, or after changing language or time zone. Reminders are scheduled for a limited number of days ahead and need replenishing; higher frequencies cover fewer days.
Reminders are local notifications, not a live message service. Their exact display time is controlled by iOS. For fewer reminders, adjust the frequency; to stop them, turn them off in NOX or revoke permission in iOS.
How do I change language or preferences?
Open Profile and select English or French in the language section. Personalization settings let you review your goals and preferences. Reminder frequency and hours have their own notification settings. If saving fails, follow the displayed message and try again; a change is not confirmed until it saves successfully.
Can I recover progress on another device?
Progress, favorites and onboarding answers remain on your device. Sharing an email address does not back up or synchronize them. Restoring Premium restores eligible access, not this local data. An Apple backup may restore some information depending on its contents and your settings; NOX does not hold a server copy of your progress to restore.
Local deletion and deletion of analytics or contact records on the server are separate. Uninstalling may remove local data, but does not request deletion of a feedback email or analytics and does not cancel a subscription. iOS’s Offload App option may retain data. Before uninstalling, use the relevant Profile controls where available. Read about retention and deletion.
How do I share my email for feedback?
This section applies only to versions that offer “Share my feedback”.
After the subscription screen, enter an address you control and explicitly allow NOX to contact you for feedback, then choose Continue. In versions offering this step, it must be completed before first access. You can manage the address later in Profile under “Share my feedback”. The address is saved only when submitted with permission. There is no account to create, no code to enter and no confirmation email. Saving the address does not automatically send a message.
To stop future requests, withdraw permission in Profile. This requests deletion of the email and contact record for this installation. If offline or the request fails, it remains pending: reopen NOX with internet access so it can finish. Until server confirmation, the address may remain. For an address provided on another installation or after losing access to this installation, contact support. Local progress, the separate analytics choice and your Apple subscription are unaffected. Removing the address later does not reopen the initial email step. To change it, remove the current address first, then enter a new one with permission.
How do I refuse or erase analytics?
This section applies only to versions offering the optional usage analytics choice. Earlier versions do not send these optional events.
Analytics are off by default. You can refuse the choice shown at startup and use Premium normally. In Profile, open “Privacy and usage analytics” to change this choice independently of feedback contact permission. If your version does not offer this control, it does not send these optional usage events and no withdrawal is needed for them. Apple and RevenueCat purchase processing remains separate.
Withdrawing consent stops new events, clears the local queue and requests deletion of this installation’s analytics. If offline or the server is unavailable, reopen NOX with internet access to allow another attempt. Analytics from other installations cannot be found using your email: repeat withdrawal on those devices. Withdrawing feedback contact permission is a separate action. Read the retention periods.
Contact support
Email: sirlebossgzg@gmail.com. We can help in English or French. No analytics consent or feedback contact permission is needed to ask for help.
Include a brief description, the exact error message, your iOS version and the NOX version shown in Profile. For a purchase issue, tell us the plan and whether Apple shows it as active. Send screenshots only if helpful and hide personal or payment details. Never send an Apple password or full card number.
Messages you choose to send, including your email address, are handled as explained in the Privacy Policy. To give feedback now, you may use this email; the contact permission, in versions that offer it, only allows NOX to contact you to ask for feedback.
